Donate a School Kid

Hi All,

Vacation for most of the school started and children are in holiday mood. But when the school reopens most of the slum school kids and parents suffer because it is time for them to get book, note books, school fees ect.

Most of the students can’t afford the basic things needed for their education. The reasons were many; parents being away from the children, absence of caretakers for the children, single parents with a financial crisis, children without parents, family below poverty line etc.

After discussing with the teachers and also with NGOs working in slums and have come up with a list of basic requirements.

School Kit Contents:

1 School Bag
10 Note Books (4 books of 100 pages, 4 books of 200 pages and 2 copy writing books).
1 Pen, 1 Pencil and eraser.
1 Geometry box (for 5th STD and higher).

We have tie-up with NGOs to get this SCHOOL KIT for Rs.250, because they also have a similar program so we can get this done in a bulk order.

How to Donate? Collection will end by last week of may for this Program

12th STD

I did my higher school in SSM Lakshimi ammal School near Erode. Those 2 years went just like that, I stayed in my uncle house for few days and most of the days in school Hostel. In 11th I was new to school so I learned many thing about school, boys, girls, staff and the place because I am totally new to the place and school. Every thing gave me hands and I learned easily I got very good friends even there. Out school is near the Cauvery river. Bhavani is famous for Mukkudal( Confluence of rivers Bhavani, Cauvery and Saraswathi in the Sangameshwar temple). I enjoyed studying this school, In 12th I became the Green House Caption so added responsibility to me. And One interesting thing is that made me famous abound the school and staff. Finall We got the Finall Cup that brought me fame and name.

One of the incident I still remember is that once we did not like mess food and fought with warden. It was about 9 PM then at 10 PM our principal came to hostel and called who all fight with warden every one went to their room leaving me and my friend. Then principal asked do you wnat to stay her or go out, so we accepted and went to hostel.

In 11th final exam i got chicken pox but the principal did not give permission for medical leave, that is the time i really suffered a lot. Stayed in my uncle house and went to school by covering the full body in white cloth. They arranged a separate hall for the exam.

Few staffs that I cant forget are :
Chemistry Sir: He is very strict and very talented person. He always used to ask equation and I always tell the wrong things so he give imposition, after that also I will tell wrongly. He really had tough time with me and With all of us.
Tamil Sir: I dont know much about tamil from my child hood, reson being i did not pay much attention to it. Due to that I will commit lot of mistake, I troubled him a lot.

When ever i feel depressed or feel lonely I will go to Sangameshwar temple and sit in the steps of river where all the three rivers join. Will tell the river what I feel and get myself comfort at around 6 or 6.30 PM one watch man will shout at us to leave the place. Then I will go to my uncle house, when I was in school I missed that place, I used to see the place from my hostel and feel that I am in that place.

Then I did my 12th exam well return to my native. In 12th leave I learned driving and went guy, to build my body. Then during the leave I used to pass my time by getting together with friends. Then I used to visit colleges to get to know about the college and place.

Next comes the college life.

School

I dont like to go to school, I will cry roll around in floor for going to school. My grandfather(Head Master) and his assistant will come how catch me and take me to school. This How I started my LKG and UKG.

Then I dont remember much about the school days from 1st to 5th. During 7th and 8th my dad took us to soudi arabia and I did there. Since i did not pick up and study well over there my dad send me to India. Again I started my school life in India from 9th in a school called Kongu. That is where I really learned many things and got lot of friends. From my young age I was away from my house, Kongu school and friends thought me many things in life which I still cant forget. I stayed in hostel, since I got good environment, good school and good friends I also grown as a good Boy.

In school I am one of the best sports person. I loved many in the school, the mess staff loved me like any thing they took care of me like their kid so I did not feel home sick. Our principal mam used to quot me as example to many person in discipline and in studies she will scold me like any thing.

Still Lot more to add dont wait and see, Now only I am doing 10th. So still have to grow in life.
